Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Robin Hood and now Vikings – Valhalla. The latest international production to use Dubrovnik as a background will be the smash hit Netflix serial Vikings – Valhalla.

Tomorrow a casting will be held in Dubrovnik for the purposes of filming a TV series and a film during September, at which extras of various profiles will be chosen. Unofficially, we have learnt that this is the second part of the globally popular series Vikings – Valhalla.

Dubrovnik has long been on the world map as a sought-after filming location, and many businesses still live off guided tours and souvenirs from the Game of Thrones series.
