The Institute for Public Health of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County conducted the fifth regular examination of the quality of the sea water on 121 beaches across the Dubrovnik-Neretva County in the period from July 12 to July 20, 2022.

The sea on 117 beaches was rated as excellent quality, and on two beaches as good. On the beach of Lopud, the Grand Hotel on Lopud and Under the Walls on Korčula, the sea was rated as satisfactory.

During the fifth examination of the sea at Prigradica beach in Blato on Korčula on July 12, 2022, short-term pollution was determined. Additional sea samples were taken from July 14-17, 2022, and the test results from July 16 and 17, 2022 meet the conditions of the regulation on the quality of the sea for bathing, which indicates the end of short-term pollution.

The current sea temperature in Dubrovnik is almost 27 degrees.
