Some opportunities in life simply cannot be missed! Du Motion's race across the Pelješac Bridge, the largest infrastructure project in the history of Croatia and one of the largest bridges in Europe, is one of those opportunities.
Namely, on July 26, 2022, on the historic day when the extreme south of Croatia will be reunited with the rest of the country after 300 years, 250 runners will have the incredible opportunity to run across the Pelješac Bridge. It will be a prelude to the all-day spectacular opening ceremony, the largest in the modern history of Croatia.
"We are very proud to have the opportunity to organize a race on such a big day, on the bridge that finally connects our Dubrovnik with the rest of Croatia. The bridge is normally not open to pedestrians, so I can say without the slightest exaggeration that running across a grandiose bridge like the Pelješac is an unrepeatable experience and race which will be remembered for the rest of your life," said Alen Bošković on behalf of Du Motion, which will organize the race in partnership with the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, the City of Dubrovnik, the Dubrovnik Tourist Board and Croatian Roads.
The race is 5.5 kilometres long and starts at 9:00 am. The entry fee is 200 Kuna, and the package for runners includes an official T-shirt, finisher's medal, starting number, timing and refreshments.
