The summer is here and the heat wave that the city has been experiencing over the past week has dried out the nature and led to the danger of forest fires. And last night one such forest fire broke out.
Firefighters managed to localize and stop the further spread of a forest fire that broke out near the village of Petrov Selo on late on Tuesday evening.
As the Public Fire Brigade of Dubrovnik points out, 12 firefighters with 5 vehicles took part in the intervention, and the fire scene remains guarded until further notice. The fire was spread by the winds last night.
