Every summer the water quality on the beaches of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County is regularly checked, and this year’s first testing was carried out between the 16th and the 26th of May.

The 121 beaches of the county were tested for sea water quality by the County Public Health Institute and all of the beaches complied with the requirements of the sea quality regulation.

The sea water quality on 116 beaches was rated as a sea of excellent quality, on three beaches the sea was rated as good, while the sea on the beaches below the walls in Korcula and Ušće Ploče was rated as satisfactory.

The current sea temperature in the Dubrovnik region is between 20 and 21 degrees.
