The recent warm spell of weather in the Dubrovnik region has also meant the beginning of forest fires as the undergrowth dries out. And yesterday at exactly 2:37pm a fire broke out in Župa Dubrovačka in the village of Plat.

Firefighters from Konavle, Dubrovnik and Župa Dubrovačka were quickly on the scene and at 4:30 the fire was under control and extinguished. The forest fire was directly above the electric power plant in Plat.
