In the period from 1 March to 27 May 2022, the Municipal Police Department of the City of Dubrovnik issued 138 mandatory misdemeanour orders for the parking of tourist buses and passenger cars in the area of Pile directly outside of the Old City of Dubrovnik. This area is a special traffic zone and is used by tourist and public buses to drop passengers off in front of the historic Old City.

The total value of the fines handed out was 1,275,000 Kuna. Violations were recorded exclusively by reviewing video surveillance footage and personal observation of municipal wardens in the field.

The City of Dubrovnik reminds all service users to use the electronic system for regulating the stopping and parking status of tourist buses and cars of category M1 capacity (7 + 1) and (8 + 1) in the zone of special traffic regime.
