The new Peljesac Bridge that connects Dubrovnik to the rest of Croatia was connected back in summer of this year and this video shows just how impressive this new structure, the largest construction project in Croatia in recent years, actually is.
The bridge may have already connected Dubrovnik to the rest of the country but it isn’t yet open to traffic as the connecting roads have yet to be finished and the bridge still has some final works. Although it should be open for traffic next year, and will make the drive from Dubrovnik, or indeed to Croatia’s southernmost city, much easier as it will avoid the border crossing at Neum in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
