Yesterday, the Mayor of the City of Dubrovnik, Mato Franković, received the General Manager of Turkish Airlines for Croatia, Uğur Cantimura, who recently took over the management of the Dubrovnik representative office.
Mayor Franković and Director Cantimur discussed the current situation in the tourist travel market, with a special emphasis on the development of mutual partnership and the continuation of operations in the off-season, which both sides consider crucial and necessary, due to the fact that Istanbul is an extremely important hub.
The General Manager of Turkish Airlines for the Croatian market played an active and notable role in the company's arrival in the Dubrovnik area, and in early July the carrier resumed traffic between Istanbul and Dubrovnik.
Regular flights on this route currently operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Maintaining the line with Istanbul and the operation of Turkish Airlines in Dubrovnik is important because of the rich network of lines that this company maintains, especially with distant markets in Asia and the United States.
