During May 2021, there were 24,454 tourist arrivals in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, which is a large increase compared to May 2020 because in that period last year almost all travel was restricted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In May 2021, 97,478 overnight stays were realized, which is an increase of 236 percent compared to May 2020.
From the beginning of the year to the end of May, there were 49,268 tourist arrivals and 251,463 overnight stays. Most overnight stays were realized in private accommodation, 96,902 in total, and 59,729 overnight stays in hotels.
Most overnight stays were made by guests from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany and Poland.
According to the records of the eVisitor system, yesterday 4,290 tourists were in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, of which 542 are domestic and 3,748 foreign.
