The head of the borough council, Silvio Nardelli, commented at the opening “Župka is a symbol of a woman from Župa Dubrovacka who, with her hard work on the fertile land, carried the fruits of her labour in a basket on her head to the green markets. Župka has become a symbol of our municipality, and the coat of arms of the municipality represents Župa with a basket on its head, and it is actually something that has been recognizable for many years for Župa dubrovačka.”
