During April 2021, there were 11,121 tourist arrivals in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, which is a large increase compared to April 2020 because last April was marked by the closure of all countries due to the pandemic. For that same reason, in April 2021, there were 60 percent more overnight stays than in April 2020, 47,095 to be precise.
Most overnight stays were made by guests from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Germany and Poland.
From the beginning of the year to the end of April, there were 24,695 tourist arrivals and 117,627 overnight stays across the county. Most overnight stays were realized in private accommodation, 54,807 in total.
