From the absolutely iconic Rector’s Palace in Slano with it’s fascinating history to the remains of church in Ošlje named Rotonda, a new promo video from Dubrovačko Primorje highlights the historical and cultural gems of the region.

As the tourist season of 2021 starts to gain momentum, with more and more flights being announced and an increase in confidence to actually travel this year, each destination is thinking of new and creative ways to publicise their tourist offer in a competitive market.

The Dubrovačko Primorje Tourist Board has taken that publicity online with a new video entitled “Discover Dubrovačko Primorje – History and Heritage.” In what is the first in a four-part series of promo videos, filmed and created by LMT Studio from Dubrovnik, the hidden historical and heritage gems are uncovered.

“The idea of the project is to highlight attractions and the tourist offer but in a new and modern way. The reaction we’ve received from this first video has been overwhelming and we’ve received positive feedback from all over the world,” stated Slaven Zvono, the director of the Dubrovačko primorje Tourist Board. He added that “We intended to continue with three more videos featuring the offer for active tourism, the nautical scene and the traditional cuisines in a gastro video.”

Many visitors to the region, and especially Slano, and aware of the impressive Rector’s Palace that dominates the skyline, but some of the more hidden historical sights away from the coastline are more off the radar for tourists. However, with this new promo video, tourists could well be tempted away from the Adriatic and to explore deeper into the unspoilt nature with its quaint villages, picturesque churches and ancient ruins.
