The organized vaccination of tourism workers begins on Friday, April 23 in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, and Dubrovnik will be visited by the Minister of Tourism and Sports, Nikolina Brnjac, on the occasion of the beginning of this important action of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Croatian Institute of Public Health.
“Considering the extreme importance and recognisability of Dubrovnik as a tourist destination, we want to start vaccinating in Dubrovnik, in order to additionally send a message to our guests about the safety of this and all other tourist destinations in Croatia. I thank our tourism workers for the exceptional responsibility they have shown in the preparations for this season, as well as the Croatian Institute of Public Health and the Ministry of Health for their professional assistance,” said Minister Brnjac.
“We are extremely pleased that the organized vaccination of tourist workers in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County has begun, because we know how important it is to send a message of safety to tourists, and we are doing it this way. Dubrovnik is ready to welcome all our guests and I thank all the tourism workers who approached the organized vaccination in order to be as resilient as possible to welcome the main part of the season,” said the prefect of Dubrovnik-Neretva County Nikola Dobroslavić.
Since the beginning of April, Croatia has been open to tourists from outside the European Union, with very clear and transparent rules for entering the country.
After Dubrovnik, in accordance with the priorities and the vaccination plan, the vaccination of tourist workers will start in all other tourist destinations of the Republic of Croatia.
