Coronavirus Dubrovnik – 5 new cases of Covid-19 across Dubrovnik-Neretva County – 1 more fatality

In the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, five new cases of coronavirus infection (two identified by a rapid antigen test) were recorded in the last 24 hours. These are four people from Dubrovnik and one from Ston.

A total of one male and four females were infected, and four of them have an established epidemiological link.

One male person from Župa (born in 1931) died.

The first dose of the vaccine has been received by 14,415 inhabitants of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County.

56 people made a full recovery - 13 from Orebić, 11 from Metković, nine from Dubrovnik, five from Korčula, four from Opuzen and Ploče, two from Konavle, Kula Norinska and Vela Luka, and one from Blato, Dubrovacko primorje and Slivno, and one person without residence in the area of the county.

In the last 24 hours, 66 samples were processed, and a total of 58,088 samples have been analysed since the beginning of the pandemic.

68 people tested positive for coronavirus are hospitalized in the Dubrovnik General Hospital. Seven patients require intensive care, of which four are on invasive, two on non-invasive ventilation, and one on oxygen.

There are 1,194 people in self-isolation, and in the last 24 hours there have been six violations of the self-isolation measure (five at the border).
