Coronavirus Dubrovnik – 125 new cases of Covid-19 across Dubrovnik-Neretva County

In the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, 125 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in the last 24 hours (55 were determined by a rapid antigen test).

These are 35 people from Dubrovnik, 24 from Metković, 19 from Orebić, eight from the Dubrovacko Primorje, and Župa, six from Konavle, five from Korčula, four from Ploče, two from Mljet, from Opuzen, Pojezerje, Ston and Zažablje , one each from Kula Norinska and Vela Luka and four persons who do not reside in the area of our county.

A total of 56 males and 69 females were infected, and 94 had an established epidemiological link.

One woman from Orebić died (born in 1933).

59 people made a full recovery - 26 from Dubrovnik, ten from Metković, eight from Župa dubrovačka, seven from Konavle, three from Kula Norinska, two from Orebić and one each from Korčula, Mljet and Opuzen.

In the last 24 hours, 449 samples were processed, and since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 52,231 samples have been analysed.

There are currently 819 active cases of coronavirus infection in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, of which 490 in the wider Dubrovnik area (Dubrovnik 292, Konavle 69, Župa dubrovačka 102, Dubrovačko primorje 20 and Ston seven cases).

73 people tested positive for coronavirus are currently hospitalized in the Dubrovnik General Hospital. Six patients require intensive care, of which four are on invasive, one on non-invasive ventilation, and one on oxygen.

There are 1,443 people in self-isolation, and in the last 24 hours there have been five violations of the self-isolation measure (four at the border).
