Coronavirus Dubrovnik – 120 new cases of Covid-19 in Dubrovnik-Neretva County – third worst day since pandemic began

In the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, 120 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in the last 24 hours (47 determined by a rapid antigen test). This represents the third worst day for new cases in the county since the pandemic began.

These are 32 people from Dubrovnik and Metković, 17 from Ploče, 11 from Konavle and Župa dubrovačka, four from Kula Norinska, three each from Dubrovacko Primorje and Ston, two each from Blato and Vela Luka and one each from Opuzen and Orebić. and Slivno.

A total of 49 males and 71 females were infected, and 87 had an established epidemiological link.

One woman from Dubrovnik (born in 1932) died.

87 people made a full recovery - 48 from Dubrovnik, 12 from Župa, nine from Metković, four from Ploče and Ston, three from Konavle, two from Opuzen and Orebić and one each from Dubrovacko Primorje, Kula Norinska and one person without residence in the area of our county.

In the last 24 hours, 399 samples were processed, and since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 51,782 samples have been analysed.

There are currently 754 cases of coronavirus infection active in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, of which 436 in the wider Dubrovnik area (Dubrovnik 247, Konavle 70, Župa dubrovačka 102, Dubrovačko primorje 12 and Ston five cases).

70 people tested positive for coronavirus are currently hospitalized in the Dubrovnik General Hospital. Five patients require intensive care, of which four are on invasive and one on oxygen.

There are 1,382 people in self-isolation, and in the last 24 hours there was one violation of the self-isolation measure (at the border).

The headquarters of the Civil Protection of the county continues to appeal to citizens to adhere to all prescribed measures by the Croatian Institute of Public Health and the Civil Protection Headquarters of the Republic of Croatia.
