Coronavirus Dubrovnik – 79 new cases of Covid-19 across Dubrovnik-Neretva County

In the last 24 hours in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, 79 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded (24 determined by a rapid antigen test).

These are 31 people from Dubrovnik, 14 each from Metković and Župa dubrovačka, six from Ploče, five from Orebić, four from Kula Norinska, three from Konavle, one from Opuzen and one person who does not reside in our county.

A total of 34 males and 45 females were infected, and 49 had an established epidemiological link.

Two people died; one male person from Dubrovnik (born 1954) and one from the Dubrovnik Parish (born 1934).

68 people made a full recovery in the past 24 hours - 28 from Dubrovnik, 16 from Konavle, 12 from Župa dubrovačka, three from Orebić, two each from Metković, Ston and Vela Luka and one from Lastovo, Smokvica and Trpanj.

In the last 24 hours, 349 samples were processed, and since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 50,105 samples have been analyzed.

There are currently 674 active cases of coronavirus infection in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, of which 511 in the wider area of Dubrovnik (Dubrovnik 304, Konavle 77, Župa dubrovačka 107, Dubrovačko primorje 15 and Ston eight cases).

63 people tested positive for coronavirus are currently hospitalized in the Dubrovnik General Hospital. Six patients require intensive care, of which three are on invasive ventilation, two on non-invasive and one on oxygen.

There are 1,012 people in self-isolation, and in the last 24 hours there have been two violations of the self-isolation measure (both at the border).
