What better way to relax after challenging at the Olympic Games in Rio than a break in Dubrovnik. Kristian Thomas represented Team GB at the Olympics in the gymnast disciplines and was a member of the team that ranked fourth in the Men’s team all-round section, he also finished seventh in the floor exercise.
Thomas, from Wolverhampton, is a member of the Great Britain men's team and he was a member of the British team that won gold in the 2012 European Championships team event, and an historic bronze in the same event at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
He won his first global individual medal in the 2013 World Championships, a bronze in vault; it was also the first global medal ever won in vault by a British male gymnast. He added a photo to his Twitter account on the iconic Dubrovnik City Walls with the simple message “Seeing the sights of Dubrovnik.” And with over 51,000 followers his photo soon went viral.
