Dubrovnik is one of the best places to spend a beautiful time with your loved one and there's no surprise that the magazine Food & Wine has included it to the list of the World's most romantic cities.

The author, Rebecca Flint Marx, discovers the destinations for couples like Buenos Aires, San Sebastian, Edinburgh, Paris and of course Dubrovnik.
- Although Paris is the obvious choice, there are many other cities (domestic and exotic) where the vistas, architecture and food can inspire passion and even marriage proposals – writes the author and we couldn't agree more. There's something in the air in Dubrovnik  because many people choose it for their wedding destination too.

Every city has a section ''why go'' and this is written for Dubrovnik:
- With its medieval lanes, cathedrals and seaside perch, it's easy to see why Lord Byron called Dubrovnik "the pearl of the Adriatic." Get lost on the smooth cobbled streets of the Old Town, or sip espresso at one of the cafés on the Placa, the city's pedestrian thoroughfare.
