In the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, 87 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in the last 24 hours (of which 59 cases were determined by rapid antigen testing).
These new cases include - 30 people from Metković, 21 from Dubrovnik, 12 from the borough of Župa, six from Konavle (of which one is an employee of the Home for the Elderly Konavle), five from Ploče, three from Kula Norinska and Opuzen, two from Blato, one person from Dubrovacko Primorje, Korčula, Slivno and Vela Luka and one person who does not reside in the county.
A total of 46 males and 41 females were infected, and an epidemiological link was found for 42 individuals.
On a positive note 33 people have made a full recovery - 14 from Metković, seven from Dubrovnik, two from Blato, Konavle, Korčula, from Mljet and Vela Luka, and one person each from Kula Norinska and Ploče.
55 people tested positive for coronavirus are currently hospitalized in the Dubrovnik General Hospital. Five patients require intensive care, three patients are on invasive ventilation, two patients are on non-invasive ventilation.
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in Dubrovnik a total of 44 people have passed away due to the virus.
In the last 24 hours, 328 samples were processed, and since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 25,721 samples have been analysed, which is around 21 percent of the population of the county.
There are 1,149 people in self-isolation, and in the last 24 hours no violation of the self-isolation measure was recorded. In total 3,064 people have contracted the virus since the pandemic began.
The headquarters of the Civil Protection of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County continues to appeal to citizens to adhere to all prescribed measures by the Croatian Institute of Public Health and the Civil Protection Headquarters of the Republic of Croatia.
