In the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, 33 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in the last 24 hours (of which 1 case was determined by a rapid antigen test).
These new cases include - 17 people from Metković, 5 people from Opuzen, 4 people from Ploče, 3 people from Slivno and 2 people from Dubrovnik and Zažablje.
A total of 15 males and 18 females were infected, and an epidemiological link was established for 11 individuals.
Unfortunately, one more person has passed away from Covid-19, a male from Metković (born in 1929).
On a positive note 32 people were cured - 16 from Dubrovnik, 5 from Metković, 2 people from Korčula, Opuzen and Župa dubrovačka, 1 person from Blato, Konavle, Orebić and Ploče and 1 person who does not reside in the county.
54 people tested positive for coronavirus are currently hospitalized in the Dubrovnik General Hospital. Five patients require intensive care, four patients are on invasive ventilation, and one patient is on non-invasive ventilation.
In the last 24 hours, 124 samples were processed, and since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 25,157 samples have been analysed.
There are 749 people in self-isolation, and in the last 24 hours, 1 violation of the self-isolation measure was recorded.
The headquarters of the Civil Protection of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County continues to appeal to citizens to adhere to all prescribed measures by the Croatian Institute of Public Health and the Civil Protection Headquarters of the Republic of Croatia.
