In the last 24 hours, 48 new cases of Covid-19 infection were recorded in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County.
These new cases are 19 people from Dubrovnik, eight from Metković, six from Konavle, three from Korčula and Župa dubrovačka, two from Ston, one each from the Dubrovacko primorje, Lumbarda, Opuzen, Ploče, Vela Luka and Zažablje, and one person who does not reside in area of the county.
A total of 24 males and 24 females were infected, and an epidemiological link was established for 24 of them.
Unfortunately, one male person from Opuzen died (born in 1944). Since the beginning of the pandemic a total of 28 people have passed away due to the virus.
On a positive note 39 people have made a full recovery - 21 from Dubrovnik, nine from Metković, four from the Župa dubrovačka, one each from Konavle, Ploče and Ston, and two people who do not reside in our county.
In the Dubrovnik General Hospital there are 58 people tested positive for coronavirus.
Eleven people require intensive care, four patients are on non-invasive ventilation, six are on invasive ventilation, and one person is on oxygen.
In the last 24 hours, 192 samples were processed, and a total of 22,547 samples have been analysed since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are 826 people in self-isolation, and in the last 24 hours no violation of the self-isolation measure was recorded. Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 96 cases of self-isolation violations have been identified.
The headquarters of the Civil Protection of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County continues to appeal to citizens to adhere to all prescribed measures by the Croatian Institute of Public Health and the Civil Protection Headquarters of the Republic of Croatia.
