In the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, 93 new cases of Covid-19 infection were recorded in the last 24 hours. These new figures released this morning represent the second worst day for new Covid-19 cases since the pandemic began.
These new cases include 44 people from Metković, 15 from Dubrovnik, eight from Opuzen, six from Ploče, four each from Korčula and Župa dubrovačka, three from Konavle, two each from Orebić and Slivno and one each from the Dubrovacko primorije, Kula Norinska, Lumbarda, Smokvice and Ston.
A total of 49 males and 44 females were infected, and an epidemiological link was established for 51 of them.
Unfortunately, one male person from Zažablje (born in 1950) died.
On a positive note 69 people across the county have made a full recovery - 29 from Dubrovnik, six each from Konavle, Metković and Župa dubrovačka, four each from Korčula and Orebić, three from Blato, two each from Opuzen, Ploče and Vela Luka, one each from the Dubrovnik littoral, Kula Norinska, Lumbarda and Trpanj and one person who does not reside in our county.
56 people tested positive for coronavirus are currently hospitalized in the Dubrovnik General Hospital. Eleven patients require intensive care, six patients are on a non-invasive ventilation, and five are on invasive ventilation.
In the last 24 hours, 251 samples were processed, and since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 22 163 samples have been analysed.
There are 1176 people in self-isolation, and in the last 24 hours one violation of the self-isolation measure was recorded.
