In the last 24 hours, 44 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County.
These are 19 people from Dubrovnik, eight from Župa dubrovačka, five from Ploče, three from Metković, two people from Konavle and Opuzen, one person from Blato, Korčula and Vela Luka and two people who do not reside in our county.
A total of 26 males and 18 females were infected, and an epidemiological link was established for 28 of them.
Unfortunately, over the last 24-hour period two people have passed away due to Covid-19 - one male from Dubrovnik (born 1938) and one female from Metković (born 1942).
On a positive note 58 people have made a full recovery - 20 from Dubrovnik, 11 from Metković, nine from Župa dubrovačka, five from Konavle, four from Blato, three from Korčula and one person each from the Dubrovacko Primorje, Orebić, Ploče, Pojezerje, Vela Luka and one person who doesn’t reside in the county.
54 people tested positive for coronavirus are currently hospitalized in the Dubrovnik General Hospital.
Nine patients require intensive care, five patients are on non-invasive ventilation, three are on invasive ventilation, and one is on oxygen.
In the last 24 hours, 293 samples were processed, and since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 21,725 samples have been analysed.
There are 1141 people in self-isolation, and in the last 24 hours no violation of the self-isolation measure was recorded.
