The Tourist Board of the city of Dubrovnik presented the tourist offer of Dubrovnik at one of the largest tourist fairs World Travel Market - WTM, which this year was held virtually for the first time, from 9th to 11th November. All participants communicated through video platforms, seminars, conferences and workshops, and a total of fifty meetings were held with partners, tour operators and media representatives.
-Interest in Dubrovnik is great, and Dubrovnik as a safe destination is one of the key messages in communication with the British market, but also with others. Announcements for the future are optimistic and everyone hopes that everything will return to normal as soon as more stable conditions are created - said the director of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board, Ana Hrnic.
On the virtual stand of the Croatian Tourist Board, alongside with the Dubrovnik Tourist Board, Adriatic Luxury Hotels, the Association of Small and Family Hotels (OMH), Croatia Airlines, the Zagreb Tourist Board, Maistra Hospitality Group, Valamar Riviera dd, Perfecta Travel, Plitvice Lakes and Uniline DM worked on their visibility.
The United Kingdom is second on the list of countries from which we have the most visitors this year. During the first ten months of 2020, 21,906 guests from the United Kingdom arrived and made 96,677 overnight stays.
