Coronavirus Dubrovnik - record breaking day for new Covid-19 cases in Dubrovnik-Neretva County – 1 more fatality

In the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, 102 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in the last 24 hours. These new figures represent the worst day for new Covid-19 in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County and the first time that more than 100 new cases were detected in one 24-hour period.

These new Covid-19 cases are 18 men and 21 women from Dubrovnik, 11 men and 14 women from Metković, six men and five women from the borough of Župa, five men and three women from Ploče, three men from the Dubrovacko Primorje, three women from Konavle, two women from Blato, Kula Norinska and Opuzen, two men from Smokvica, one man from Korcula and Lumbarda, one woman from Pojezerje and two men who do not reside in our county.

An epidemiological link has been established for 63 of these new cases.

One male person from Ploče (born in 1925) died.

21 people made a full recovery - eight from Dubrovnik, four from Metković, three from Smokvica, two people each from Konavle and Vela Luka, one person from the borough of Župa and one person who does not reside in our county.

26 people tested positive for coronavirus were hospitalized in Dubrovnik General Hospital.

In the last 24 hours, 325 samples were processed, and since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 19,020 samples have been analysed.

907 people are in self-isolation, and no violation of the self-isolation measure has been recorded in the last 24 hours.
