The number of new Covid-19 cases across Croatia is again on the rise after two days of a decrease in new cases. In the past 24 hours 280 new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in Croatia, bringing the number of active cases to 2,103. Tests over the last 24 hours were ramped up, with almost 6,500 carried out.
Unfortunately, over the last 24 hours 6 people have died in Croatia due to the virus, 236 have now died in Croatia from Covid-19 since the pandemic began.
There are 293 people in hospital in Croatia positive for Covid-19 and 20 people on a ventilator, reported the National Civil Protection Headquarters announced on Wednesday.
Since February 25, 2020, when the first case of infection was recorded in Croatia, a total of 14,029 people have been infected with Covid-19, of which 236 have died and 11,190 have recovered.
There are currently 8,505 people in self-isolation.
To date, a total of 236,938 people have been tested, of which 6,353 were tested in the last 24 hours.
