By  Aug 13, 2020

The Director of the Croatian Public Health Institute, Krunoslav Capak, commented for Nova TV on the record daily increase in new cases of Covid-19 in Croatia. He also revealed that the measure of restricting the opening hours of clubs and cafes across the country will come into effect from tomorrow and will mean that they will have to close their doors at midnight.

"Yesterday we announced that the epidemiological service with sanitary inspection has the possibility to temporarily close clubs, and today the Headquarters made a decision that will take effect tomorrow and be valid for the next 10 days on limiting the working hours of nightclubs, bars, cafes," Capak explained.

''I have to point out a few related facts about these 180 newly infected cases. It’s an even younger age group than yesterday, averaging 31 years. Most of them can be connected with gatherings on the Adriatic coast,'' Capak said. He added that the competent inspections will continue to control the work of night clubs and café bars.
