Finland places Croatia on recommended self-isolation list

By  Aug 13, 2020

Coronavirus in Croatia lately seems to be "selecting" victims of a younger age. The reason for that is the gatherings of a larger number of people, in spite of all epidemiological recommendations.

And summer is like that, it seeks and offers entertainment, nightclubs gather and invite, and young people gladly respond. Tourists mostly. An increasing number of those who, in addition to the memories of an extraordinary time on the Adriatic, also carried the virus upon their return to their home countries, writes Slobodna Dalmacija.

That is why Finland introduced changes in its border traffic, so it put us in the group of countries with Andorra, Bulgaria, Romania, Great Britain and Monaco, after returning from which the Finns have to isolate themselves for two weeks. More precisely - self-isolation was recommended to them by their staff.

On the official Twitter account on the Finnish Embassy in Croatia a post stated that “Finland will introduce a mandatory 14-day home quarantine for all travellers coming to Finland from certain high-risk countries (including Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina). Mandatory coronavirus testing will also be introduced.
