The director of the Croatian Institute of Public Health (HZJZ), Krunoslav Capak, attended a session of the Health Commission of the Croatian Olympic Committee (COC) and spoke about aspects of the return of sport to normal functioning. "You know that in mid-May we allowed the training of top athletes with the easing of measures. This weekend the Football Cup will be played, and we have pressure to let the fans into the stadiums. For now, this will not happen," said Capak, who commented. and the possibility of holding sports competitions indoors.
Stating that the Croatia has one of the best epidemiological situations in the world, Dr. Capak spoke with a lot of optimism about the current epidemiological situation in Croatia, although he also showed a great deal of caution.
"We still have to be careful because the virus is still there, and it can easily come from outside. Due to tourism, we are currently the most open country in Europe, and the situation in our environment is not so great - Germany, France, Spain, and hotspots in South America, all of this suggests will need to show caution," added Capak.
