The average net salary of in the City of Zagreb in January this year amounted to HRK 7,797, which is a nominal increase of 2.1 percent on a monthly basis and 4.4 percent on a yearly basis, according to statistics just released.

Compared to the average monthly salary for January at a national level, which amounted to HRK 6,796, the average net salary paid in Zagreb was HRK 1,001 higher.

According to the statistics of the City Office for Strategic Planning and Development, the highest average net salary in legal entities in Zagreb was paid in the extraction of crude oil and natural gas, in the amount of HRK 12,198 on average.
