There are 64 new patients of COVID-19 in Croatia, meaning that in total 1,407 people have contracted the virus. And unfortunately another patient has died from coronavirus, and elderly patient at the Dubrava Hospital in Zagreb. This latest victim brings the death toll in Croatia to 20.
The Health Minister, Vili Beros, reported that in the last 24 hours 64 newly infected patients have been detected. He added that there are currently 24 people are on respirators, and 326 patients have been hospitalized.
"49 residents of the Split nursing home have been evacuated, two of them have moderate symptoms and need oxygen. None are on a respirator. Of those, 49, 10 are positive. The rest are being tested, all staff from that floor are self-contained and will be tested," added Beros after visiting the Split home on Wednesday.
