Coronavirus Croatia: 61 news cases in past 24 hours – one more death

At the daily press conference of the Civil Protection Directorate the Croatian Minister of Health, Vili Beros, announced that over the past 24 hours there have been 61 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 in Croatia. The total number of people now infected is 1,343 and unfortunately another patient has passed away brining the death toll to 19.

In Split, 10 residents of a nursing Home were infected, and the Health Minister visited the home to talk to staff and healthcare workers today.

"49 residents have been evacuated, two of whom have moderate symptoms and need oxygen. None are on a respirator. Of those, 49, 10 are positive. The others are being tested, all staff from that floor are self-contained and will be tested," said Beros from Split.
