An earthquake shook Zadar early this morning at 3:37 am – Index.hr reports. 

The EMSC stated that the magnitude of the earthquake was 3.7 per Richter, but the Seismological Service subsequently reported that they measured an earthquake of magnitude 2.6 per Richter.

The intensity at the epicenter was III on the Mercalli-Cancani-Sieberg scale – they stated from the Croatian Seismological Service.
According to EMSC information, the epicenter was 11 kilometers northeast of Zadar.
