France sends help to earthquake-stricken Zagreb

By  Mar 26, 2020

After a strong earthquake that hit Zagreb and its surroundings on March 22nd in the morning, Croatia activated the European Civil Protection Mechanism and the French reaction arrived.

A special plane delivered two tonnes of equipment yesterday afternoon: tents, beds and blankets, according to the French Embassy in Croatia.

French Ambassador Gaël Veyssièr was present at the time of the plane's arrival to participate in the delivery of this assistance to the Civil Protection of the Republic of Croatia, which, as he said, is a concrete example of France's solidarity with Croatia during this sensitive period.
