Among the 65 people infected with coronavirus in Croatia are two doctors. One is a doctor from the capital, Zagreb, and the other from Vrapče hospital.

It was announced this morning that nine more people were infected with the coronavirus in Croatia, meaning that a total of 65 people in Croatia have contracted coronavirus and just over 1,000 tests have been carried out. The Croatian Health Minister, Vili Beros, commented that "We think this epidemiological picture is good under the circumstances. It is certain that the number of patients can grow.”

A doctor from Vrapče hospital is one of the new patients infected and the director of the hospital Petrana Brecic commented that “This is a doctor from a day hospital. She was at work on Friday. She told us today that she was positive for coronavirus, we do not know how many people she was in contact with. Now we study and examine who she was in contact with and on Wednesday and Thursday."

Interior Minister, Davor Bozinovic, commented that “Today we will activate all civil protection headquarters so that decisions can be implemented immediately. The first decision will be a decision that will try to limit the movement of the elderly, that is, to make I possible that they don’t need to leave their apartments and homes unless absolutely necessary.
