The Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs have released updated information on the countries that are included in the mandatory quarantine regulation in order to reduce the spread of coronavirus. The list is lengthy and is now harder to name a country in the world that isn’t actually on the list.

The Ministry stated on their website that “Measures to strengthen surveillance of the spread of coronaviruses for Croatian and foreign nationals entering the Republic of Croatia. On 15 March 2020, the Civil Protection Headquarters of the Republic of Croatia supplemented the enhanced package of measures to reduce the introduction of diseases into the population and strengthen the control of the spread of coronaviruses.”

All foreign nationals entering the Republic of Croatia from the following countries / territories will be informed about the measure of mandatory quarantine accommodation for a period of 14 days, and all Croatian citizens will receive a decision on the obligation of self-isolation for a period of 14 days.

- People's Republic of China: Hubei Province
- Italy
- Germany: Heinsberg County in the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia
- Republic of Korea: Daegu City and Cheongdo Province
- Islamic Republic of Iran

All foreign and Croatian nationals entering the Republic of Croatia from the following countries / territories will receive a 14-day self-isolation obligation.

- People's Republic of China (except Hubei province area)
- Hong Kong (People's Republic of China)
- Republic of Korea (excluding Daegu City and Cheongdo Province)
- Japan
- Republic of Singapore
- France
- Germany (except Heinsberg County in the German State of North Rhine - Westphalia)
- Austria
- Switzerland
- Spain
- The Netherlands
- Sweden
- the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
- Malaysia
- Republic of Slovenia (Bela Krajina and Dolenjska region)
