As a result of the coronavirus Lufthansa has suspended flights between Frankfurt and Zagreb from the 15th of March until the 29th of March. The German carrier had previously lowered the number of flights to Zagreb from twice weekly to once a week and now due to the COVID-19 outbreak has decided to cancel them.
Although flights from Frankfurt have been suspended the airline will continue to fly between Munich and Zagreb.
“In recent days, the Lufthansa Group has been exposed to drastic declines in bookings and numerous flight cancellations due to the spread of the Covid-19 virus. All traffic areas are now affected,” commented Lufthansa in a press release.
