According to the first unofficial results, the sensational handball match between Croatia and Germany was the most watched format broadcast on national televisions on Saturday in the country. A thrilling match that saw Croatia beat Germany by a single goal and move into the semi-finals of the European Handball Championship.
The nerve gangling game was watched on average by 936,508 viewers of the total population, while the viewership share was 49.24 percent. The most watched moment was when the game became close and Croatia led by one goal when there were 1,221,822 viewers in front of the screens.
Breaking down the figures the Croatia – Germany match was mostly watched by people in the 18 to 49 years-old group.
