The Pixies to play for Croatian audience once again

By  Dec 27, 2019

The well known American pioneers of indie rock Pixies, on the wings of this year's praised album "Beneath the Eyrie" will return to Croatian audience.

Six years after the intersection of their impressive career and a number of favorite indie hits like "Debasser," "Monkey Gone to Heaven," "Here Comes Your Man," "Where's My Mind?" and others have ended the ninth edition of the INmusic Festival, the Pixies will hold a concert in the courtyard of the Zagreb Fair on August 31st, 2020, organized by the INmusic Festival.

The cheapest contingent of tickets on sale is priced 230 kuna (+ transaction costs) and is available through the official INmusic festival webshop and at Dirty Old Shop until January 31st, 2020 or until stocks run out.

For those who don't know, the Pixies are an American alternative rock band formed in 1986 in Boston, Massachusetts. The original lineup comprised Black Francis (vocals, rhythm guitar), Joey Santiago (lead guitar), Kim Deal (bass, backing vocals) and David Lovering (drums). The band disbanded acrimoniously in 1993, but reunited in 2004. After Deal left in 2013, Pixies hired Kim Shattuck as a touring bassist; she was replaced the same year by Paz Lenchantin, who became a permanent member in 2016.
