Cat exhibition to be held in Zagreb during the weekend

Written by  Nov 22, 2019

For the end of the year, the Cats Association of Croatia is preparing spectacular international cat exhibition that will take place on Saturday and Sunday, November 23rd and 24th, at the Croatian Lottery Casino in Zagreb, Miramarska cesta 24.

The visitors will be able to see Selkirk Rex, one of the rarest breeds in the world, which is often called the 'most adorable' breed because of its unusual appearance and soft and woolly fur, which has recently become more popular on social networks and at exhibitions as well.

Also, after a 15-year break, a European cat comes to Croatia, and visitors will see rare specimens of Abyssinian and Burmese cats, as well as Singaporean cats, known as the smallest cat in the world.

In addition to Croatia, exhibitors from Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Germany and Belgium have applied. Due to the great number of breeds and cats, six judges from Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Slovenia and Croatia will judge the exhibitions.

The exhibition will be open for the public from 11am to 8pm on Saturday and from 10am to 6pm on Sunday. The most attractive part of the program on both days is the Best in Show, the announcement of the most beautiful cats of the exhibition, which will start on Saturday at 6:30 pm and on Sunday at 4:30 pm.
