National Park Plitvice Lakes celebrates 70th birthday! On that occasion, they decided to treat all their visitors with promotional ticket prices. From 22nd to 28th of April, they will cost 50 kuna for adults, 30 kuna for students and 20 kuna for children from seven to 18 years. For children younger than seven years the entrance is free.
Plitvice Lakes were proclaimed the first national park in Croatia on April 8th, 1949, and on October 26th in 1979, they entered the UNESCO World Heritage List. Their beauty attracts people from all over the world. Only in 2018, 1.7 million visitors walked through the park.
Promotional tickets can be purchased exclusively online at the National Park website, two days before the desired arrival date, and the number is, as they say from the park, limited. Buying tickets online is this year’s novelty
