Ultra Europe organizers confirmed - Swedish House Mafia will perform in Split this summer! This is the strongest musical name and the biggest enhancement in the history of the festival, and since this are the first announced performers, it can safely be said that the seventh edition of one of the most popular music festivals in Croatia will be unforgettable.
Ultra Europe Festival will take place in Split at the Poljud Stadium from July 12th to July 14th for the seventh year in a row. They will welcome the best artists in electronic music, top tier world-class production and state of the art stage design that will provide an experience like no other on the Dalmatian Coast.
Swedish House Mafia concert announcement caused a fuss, even though the event is still far away. For those who don’t know, Swedish House Mafia is a Swedish house music supergroup consisting of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. The group officially formed in late 2008, and were placed at number ten on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll 2011 and have been called "the faces of mainstream progressive house music.In 2012, they split up and were ranked at number twelve on the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll. On June 24, 2012 the group announced they would split up and for the next five years Angello worked solo, while Axwell and Ingrosso performed as a duo. On March 25, 2018, the group reunited with a surprise closing set at the 20th Anniversary of Ultra Music Festival in Miami, 2018. They will surely make an oustanding show in Split this summer!
