During 2016 and 2017 110,526 people moved from Croatia to Germany, according to the dana collected by the Federal Bureau of Migration (BAMF), which was published by the German Ministry of Interior – Vecernji.hr writes.
When it comes to immigration to Germany in these two years, Croatia is on the fifth place, followed by Romania (432,852 moved to Germany), Poland (316,275), Bulgaria (158,761) and Italy (128,968). If the whole world is in the count, Croatia is in sixth place because Syria has 205,963 migrants who came to Germany in 2016 and 2017.
In these two years, 49,696 people returned from Germany to Croatia. Germany had 3.42 million immigrants in 2016 and 2017, and 2.5 million people have moved from Germany in that two years, which means that the number of residents in Germany increased by 0.92 million.
When it comes to the region, in the same period, 50 122 people left Bosnia and Herzegovina, while 28 423 returned. A similar situation is in Serbia - 51,143 people left, but more returned - 52,575.
