Iberia Express is a low-cost branch of the Spanish national carrier Iberia, a member of the global airline organization OneWorld. It started with traffic in 2012 and currently has in its fleet 18 Airbus A320 aircrafts and four big Airbus A321 aircrafts and is flying from its base in Madrid to 45 destinations in Europe. Two new destinations have just been announced for the summer flight schedule in 2019. In addition to Bari in Italy, the second destination will be Zadar - their first destination in Croatia – Avioradar reports.
The new Zadar-Madrid line will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays from July 2nd to August 31st 2019. The same line will be the part of the code-share collaboration with the Spanish national carrier Iberia. Next year, Zadar and Madrid will be connected with a regular line for the first time.
