The island of Korcula has certainly caught the attention of the international press this year. Already major publications, such as The Huffington Post and The New York Times, have been singing the praises of this picturesque island and now the popular website Business Insider has joined the list. In an article entitled “30 places you should travel to this summer,” Korcula finds itself in fifteenth place.
“Something of an untouched paradise, the island of Korčula is filled with olive groves, tiny villages, a charming old town, and quiet beaches to explore,” writes the Business Insider on the island.
The list of destinations also includes Bermuda, Fiji, Jamaica and Marrakesh, and on the top of the list is Isola Bella in Italy.
The wines of the island of Korcula aren’t overlooked with the Business Insider recommending, “It is also known for its spectacular white wine, Grk, that you can sample at one of its wineries.”
