David Garett, world famous violinist, will perform in Croatia, as a part of his ‘Explosive’ tour. The concert will be held on October 13th (so you have more than enough time to plan your trip) in the Arena Zagreb and will surely be a hit.
Garett is a German pop and crossover violinist and recording artist, known for his special style – it's said that he blurred the lines between Mozart and Metallica.
He started playing violin as a little child and received his first Stradivarius violin at the age of 11, courtesy of German president Richard von Weizsäcker, after having performed for him. During his career he has sold more than three million albums to this date and has won 23 gold and 16 platinum awards all over the world.
He has held more than 1,500 concerts and some of his loyal fans are British Queen Elizabeth, former US President Barack Obama, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and many others.
He has also been able to set the world record for violin performance, for the fastest violin player - in 2008 and 2010 in Guiness World Records show for 66.56 or 65.26 seconds performance of the Flight of the Bumblebee by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov without a mistake He is also a well-known composer - for the album on the current tour, he composed 11 compositions.
