At the latest Best European Holiday Home Awards 2017 held on the 14th of September in Bruxelles, Croatia was an absolute winner!

Twelve accommodation facilities from Croatia entered the final competition for the Best Holiday Home in Europe Award 2017, whilst four of them were declared the best in their categories.

Villa Vista Zamask in Istria is Best Unique Spot Holiday Home, Villa Peljesac-Sreser is Best Holiday Home Beach House,Villa Falcon Rook is Best Family Friendly Holiday Home, side-by-side villa Marielyst from Denmark, whilst Villa Zminj-Vadediji is Best Health and Wellness Holiday Home, side-by-side villa Pia, Dolomites from Italy.

Therefore, Croatia became the absolute winner by winning awards in four out of eight categories. Out of 64 finalists from 18 European countries, Croatia had 12 finalists, which is an excellent result considering the fact that major tourist countries such as France and Italy had only two representatives each in the finals.

The European Holiday Home Association (EHHA) organized the event for the third year in a row, which was attended by representatives of the major European companies engaged in family accommodation such as AirBnb, Novasol, Interhome and HomeAway.
