One of the richest people from the Arab world has come to Croatia to find a perfect location for his new investment.
Hussain Sajwani also known as ‘’Donald of Dubai’’ in the world of business, is a self-made billionaire from the United Arab Emirates and one of real estate tycoons responsible for the glamorous image and architectural bravuras that were constructed over the past decade in the Arabian paradise for the rich, the city of Dubai.
The ambitious ''heavyweight'' and the tenth richest Arab on the Forbes World’s Billionaires list whose assets are currently estimated at $4.4 billion has come to Croatia to study the country and put the finger on the most attractive investment spot on the map. The Croatian governmental authority has decided to welcome him and let him know that he is welcome in Croatia and that the country would gladly see a piece of Dubai here.
Sajwani's specialty are shamelessly luxurious, huge hotel-residential-business projects, however, none has been realized in Europe yet. If he decides to invest in Croatia, he would not have to turn deserts into grandiose edifices or build artificial islands, thus he might be convinced that the local investment climate is not that harsh and that the country's economy will continue to grow, whilst elite tourists are waiting for the new luxury destination in Europe.
However, Sjawani's team has not revealed any details yet, just has given a hint about a potentially big investment in tourism.
Apart from investment and development projects, Sajwani also deals with hotel business (Damac Hotels & Resorts) and facility management (Luxury Facilities Management and Luxury Owner Association Management Services).
The global real estate agency Colliers International, which has been luring Sajwani to Croatia, has prepared several proposals for him.
Hussain Sajwani, the director and the owner of Damac Properties Dubai, a company that belongs to the three leading investment groups in Dubai, has not yet dropped his finger on a location on the Croatian map but his operational teams have already spied out the Adriatic, which Sajwani will be touring by himself by helicopter, starting from Dubrovnik.
